Over the last 25 years, the brewing environment in Europe has undergone profound changes, and beer is enjoying a resurgence of interest for a wide variety of reasons, both noble and less noble. Such richness and liveliness provokes passionate debates and reactions.

There are those who love to combine quality and quantity, who spend their free time visiting breweries, attending summer and winter festivals, commented dinners and group competitions. There are also those who happily sluice the bins with friends in front of an excellent game.

On the other hand some cannot bear beer:  the smell, the state it can induce, or simply the images it conveys.

At Agalmalt, we invite everyone to visit beer places, to meet each other, to share their opinions. We allow them to put into words their sensations. We invite them to embrace what they taste, and what tastes good to them. 

There is even beer for those who do not like beer. There is. Try us.

L'Annexe Fermentery Tour

Grégoire and Max, friends since high school, came together some years ago (over a beer) and decided to set themselves two challenges. To run the Marathon des Sables and to brew their own beer. Having achieved the first objective it was time to focus on the second.They formed a company together in January 2017 and in May of the same year their first beer hit the market the Saison de Bruxelles.As their passion for beer developed they became more and more aware of the power of yeast in the creation of their beverages, and that lead to an interest in other fermentations. They started looking for older recipes, experimenting with cider and other funky fermentations. It is their story and the story of their ferments, beer and receipies that we will discover together !

In Belgium we’re pretty proud of our beer legacy, and Brussels makes no exception to it.We have a flourishing past with testimonies and stories here and there, awaiting to be told.But do we know precisely what does Brussels have to offer beer-wise ?How does time influence brewing technique, our taste expectations?Can we taste beer past ?Is it possible to imagine beer future ?Join us for an exclusive time travel, and experience the evolution of brewing – and its major consequences – on-site in the core of Brussels beer culture. MONTHLY BEER WORKSHOP

Every month, Agalmalt invites you to one of our favorite places in Brussels to explore together one of the many aspects of beer. It is not only a tasting, but also a workshop to dig deeper into one specific theme.

25 eur / 2H / starts at 7.30 pm.

TOURS - NANOBRASSERIE ERMITAGE

Agalmalt and the Hermits come together to explore the virtues that guide them on their respective paths: autonomy, independence, enlightened quest.
Every 1st and 3rd Friday of the month, the Ermitage nanobrewery opens its doors to the public, with Cedric to take you for a tour.

26 eur / ± 2 hours / tastings included.

Sessions in French and English.
